Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a NoteSync account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, do not use the service.

2. Account responsibilities

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your master password. We cannot recover lost passwords (see Privacy Policy section 3).

You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use NoteSync to:

• Store or distribute illegal content
• Conduct phishing, spam, or other abusive activities
• Interfere with our infrastructure or attempt unauthorized access
• Resell the service without written permission

4. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but make no warranty of uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced at status.notesync-stub.invalid.

5. Pricing and refunds

Subscription pricing is shown at sign-up. We offer a 14-day refund window for new annual plans. Monthly plans are non-refundable.

6. Termination

You may cancel anytime from account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your encrypted data is purged within 30 days unless you've exported it first.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NoteSync's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the courts of Berlin, Germany have exclusive jurisdiction.
